Dianna Floyd – Owner/Instructor
Ballet, Tap, Lyrical, Jazz, Hip Hop, ATTD Performance Team Coach & Choreographer

Dianna’s love for dance began in her living room, dancing alongside her mother. She took that passion into the studio at a young age, training at Rebecca’s School of Dance in Blountstown, FL. Throughout middle and high school, she continued to develop her love for performing through cheer, musical theater, and dance. After graduating, she earned scholarships to perform with Chipola College’s show choir and theater department, where she served as a student choreographer, dance captain, and held many leading roles in musical productions.

After her time at Chipola, Dianna worked in the entertainment industry in Orlando, FL, performing at Universal Studios and as a dancer/performer at SeaWorld Orlando. She continues to work with Chipola College’s Music and Theatre Department as a guest choreographer. In addition to her dance career, Dianna holds a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and spent six years teaching at Blountstown Elementary School, where she founded the school’s first musical theater program.

Dianna joined A Time to Dance when its doors opened in August 2013 under the ownership of Madison Smith, where she taught Hip Hop, Musical Theatre, and Contemporary. She has remained actively involved in local theater, creating performance opportunities for both children and adults.

In July 2019, Dianna became the owner of A Time to Dance and launched the ATTD Performance Team, providing dedicated dancers with additional opportunities to train and compete at a higher level. Under her leadership, the studio is striving to become a pillar of excellence and professionalism in the community. The growth of ATTD’s leadership program has allowed the studio to expand its class offerings by bringing in more guest instructors and choreographers. Additionally, a strong focus on developing student teachers and assistants has led to remarkable growth, with many former assistants and students transitioning into lead instructors after graduation.

Dianna’s vision for ATTD is to be a place of joy and inspiration, where dancers of all ages feel safe to explore their talents and take creative risks. She believes that true growth happens when you push beyond your limits, and she is passionate about fostering an environment where every dancer can thrive.
